Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how FanParcel (“FanParcel,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data when you use our website and parcel-forwarding service (the “Service”). We are the controller of the personal data described here. It is written in plain language and does not replace legal advice.

Who we are & how to reach us

FanParcel operates a forwarding facility that lets fans send physical gifts to creators without either side revealing their home address. For any privacy question, data request, or complaint, contact us at fanparcel@gmail.com. We aim to respond within 30 days.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the Service:

  • Account data — your email address and sign-in identifiers, managed through our authentication provider, and your display name.
  • Public profile — your handle, bio, avatar and cover images, and any social links you choose to add. This is shown on your public page by design.
  • Forwarding address — the private shipping address we forward gifts to. This is never shown to fans.
  • Identity verification (KYC) — for creators who receive parcels, the identity document and selfie you upload so we can confirm you are a real person and combat abuse.
  • Parcel & tracking data — records of parcels sent through the Service and their delivery status.
  • Technical data — device, browser, and log information (such as IP address and timestamps) generated when you use the Service, plus cookies described in our Cookies Policy.

How parcel forwarding keeps both sides private

Fans send gifts to our facility, not to your home. We receive, re-pack, and forward each parcel to your private address. Fans never see where you live, and you are not shown a fan’s name or address. The two addresses are kept separated inside our systems and are used only to complete a forward.

How we use your data & our legal bases

We use your data to:

  • create and operate your account and public link (to perform our contract with you);
  • receive, re-pack, forward, and track parcels (to perform our contract);
  • verify identity, prevent fraud, and keep the Service safe (our legitimate interests and legal obligations);
  • communicate with you about your account and parcels (contract and legitimate interests);
  • understand and improve how the Service is used (legitimate interests, or consent where required).

Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with providers who help us run the Service, under contracts that limit their use of it:

  • Shipping carriers — the forwarding address and parcel details needed to deliver a gift to you.
  • Authentication, hosting & storage providers — to sign you in, host the app and database, and store uploaded images and documents.
  • Payment processors — where a payment is involved, to charge and settle it (they handle card data directly).
  • Authorities — when we are legally required to, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and staff.

International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries outside your own. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect it.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then only as long as required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes. Identity-verification documents are kept only as long as necessary to meet our verification and legal obligations, and are then deleted.

Security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted transport, access controls, and separation of sensitive fields such as forwarding addresses. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to reduce risk and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR/UK GDPR or the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict the use of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can delete your account at any time from Settings. To exercise any right, email fanparcel@gmail.com; you also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

Children

FanParcel is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has used the Service, contact us and we will remove the data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service evolves; the date above shows the latest revision. Material changes will be highlighted here or notified to you, and continued use means you accept the update.
